The Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta, California is the Riverside County Jail branch of the larger Southwest Justice Center. This county jail/superior court complex was built in recent years to accommodate the explosive population growth in the Southwestern area of Riverside County.

Ladies please note: currently the Southwest Detention Center does not hold or “house” female inmates long term, always transferring them instead to county jail facilities in Riverside, Banning or, less often, Indio… So ladies, let’s be sure to get ahold of your loved one quickly, before you get transferred to someplace far away.

Banning/Beaumont Area

The Larry Smith Correctional Center – once lovingly referred to as “camp snoopy” by its much older fans – is located in Banning, California.
